Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I used the Live CD, normal version for PC of the Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 7.10 - Gutsy Gibbon

GNOME Desktop
Version: 2.2.0
Distributor: Ubuntu
Build Date: 2007-09-17

Linux version 2.6.22-14-generic ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.1.3
20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2)) #1 SMP Sun Oct 14
23:05:12 GMT 2007 (Ubuntu 2.6.22-14.46-generic)

I set the window to be "Always on Visible Workspace"; after that I was able to
"Move to Another Workspace" i.e. "Desk 2" ("Move to Workspace Right"
disappeared, but this one not). Then I could see the window in the small
preview, when I was on the Desk 1 workspace; but when I changed to the Desk 2
workspace the window disappeared from the preview and I couldn't see on the
desktop or task bar either. It probably changed to the 3rd, not-existing
workspace. When I changed back to the Desk 1 workspace, I could see again on
the preview. But it happened with only this specific window.
I tried it with another window, and the same happened. My guess is, I shouldn't
be able to move a window to another workspace if that is always on the visible
workspace.
