fromport, thanks for reporting this bug. You don't need all the information to fix the bug; reporting is an important step. :) However, if the reporting is frustrating, maybe downgrading from a development release would be good? 8.04 is still rough, and is mostly available for exactly this type of bug testing and reporting. :)
Is this a duplicate of bug #187476? I seem to be getting a few signal 5 crashes from various applets.
