Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
Running Gutsy, the network interfaces appear to come up OK but no
network communication is actually possible (ie. can't ping in or out.)
Network interface is nVidia onboard:
00:14.0 Bridge: nVidia Corporation MCP51 Ethernet Controller (rev a3)
$ uname -a
Linux ghee 2.6.22-14-server #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 05:52:24 UTC 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ grep eth0 /var/log/dmesg
[ 64.030327] eth0: forcedeth.c: subsystem: 01458:e000 bound to 0000:00:14.0
I had to revert to my previous kernel (2.6.15) for them to work again
properly.
