I use an amd64 distro and I have the same problem. I wanted to see the curve displayed with java plugin at:
http://www.boursorama.com/graphiques/graphique_histo.phtml?symbole=1rPGAZ So I installed the j2re1.4-mozilla-plugin, created the symbolic link, and now the curve is displayed. But when I move the mouse cursor on it, firefox crashes. If I launch firefox in a terminal, it tells me after the crash that an error file is generated in my home directory (see attachement). It's the first time I report a bug so I don't know how the ubuntu support community is organized. That is why I'm asking: is there a reason why this bug has stayed in the New Status for so long?
