Thanks for your bug report!
Unfortunately, the apt:/package installation is made possible by a
technology called KIO-slave, which is only available for KDE. There are
efforts to have an easy package installation for Mozilla Firefox, too.
Feel free to reopen this bug for every browser you like, but we (the
Kubuntu developers) aren't able to make it available for any non-KDE
browser.
