Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

Starting up takes a long time and I was curious what the cause was so I looked
at tty1. I saw that *Loading hardware drivers was the cause, it took a lot of
time and at the end it [fail]ed. I got this error:
modprobe: WARNING: Error inserting
(/lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/ubuntu/wireless/iwlwifi/mac80211/origin/net/mac80211/iwlwifi_rc80211_simple.ko):
unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

This also happens with the 386 version.
The card is a RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
