Binary package hint: compiz
Crash occurred when Update Manager was starting up. Only noticeable
events were that Ubuntu reported the crash and desktop effects are no
longer on.
This was on a Dell Inspiron 1100 with an Intel 845G old, old laptop and
graphics chip.
This is Hardy Alpha 4.
