Public bug reported:

Please sync bmpx 0.40.13-2 from Debian Sid. It got these changes
included from current package (I'm specifically interested in -dbg
binary package):

 bmpx  (0.40.13-2) unstable; urgency=low

   * Ensure that the pkg-config file is not installed in both bmpx and bmpx-dev.
     (Closes: #462524)

bmpx (0.40.13-1) unstable; urgency=low

   * Acknowledge NMU. (Closes: #458880)
   * New upstream release. (Closes: #449565)
   * Merge packaging fixes from Ubuntu (thanks Daniel T Chen!):
     - Updated watch file (Closes: #460013),
     - Updated copyright file with current URL (Closes: #457952).
   * Take over maintainership of the package, it has been abandoned by
     the original maintainer. (Closes: #460621)
   * Remove inactive people from Uploaders:
   * Bump standards-version to 3.7.3, no changes required.
   * Use new dpkg Homepage: field.
   * Switch to dpatch instead of quilt (personal preference).
   * Build a package containing BMPx's debugging symbols, bmpx-dbg.
   * Rework debian/rules to be more sane.
