Whenever this occurs, the windows go grey and the laptop is
unresponsive. I am using Gutsy, but upgraded the kernel (and related
modules packages) to 2.6.24-5-generic to hardy as recommended above, but
the bug still persists. This was not an issue with Feisty, is there an
older kernel version that would work around this issue? The laptop is
an Asus Z35F.
I attached the required logfiles.
