Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
the xforms plugin 0.8.0.3 (found at https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/824) does not work with the ubuntu version of firefox. it does install without errors, however it fails to work. test cases (after installation of the plugin) can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xforms/samples.html this is likely a compilation / configration error in the ubuntu version of firefox since downloading the corresponding official firefox version (2.0.0.11) (from http://www.mozilla-europe.org/de/products/firefox/) and running it with a new profile (./firefox -ProfileManager), installing the xforms plugin (including firefox restart) then quitting the official firefox, starting ubuntu's firefox with the newly created profile et violà the test cases work.
