Well, in that case, I have no idea what the problem is, it may not be
the same problem as Debian's #348893 at all. Cablop's most recent
procedure is too complicated for me to reproduce. Hope someone else can
try reproducing it and pinpoint the bug.
Also, my request about testing with GTK_IM_MODULE="scim" and
QT_IM_MODULE="scim" remains unanswered.
