Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-games
not even half way through a game, and the pieces speed up and don't
respond to commands quickly enough to keep the game from running out. I
can hear the fans kicking in during this time and the machine is pulling
hard. Then it will return to normal speed and power, but too late to
return to normal gameplay.
I have a 3 gig pentium 4, and 1.5 gig of ram. I don't have trouble with
any outer programs, including cad, photoshop , or preimere (while dual
booting xp).
I've run many different versions of linux on this machine, and I fail to
understand why this simple game is giving trouble.
This is similar to a previous bug, except in this bug the pieces speed
up.

gnometris goes out of control half way through a game, with pieces speeding up,
and not responding to commands. I hear the extra pull on the system during this
time.
