CONFIRMED. CTRL-SHIFT-NUMLOCK took me out of that mode and the keypad / numlock work like expected.
As a suggestion it would be great if the numlock light flashed when in this mode to give an indicator something was different vs. broken. If appropriate I could file as a suggestion, or feel free to hijack this bug.
