hi,
I have tried to install Xubuntu 8.04 but no success. when the graphical
enviroment started, there was only a brown background and nothing more happend.
I thought the iso image burning process went wrong so I downloaded the iso
image once again and burned it again but the result was the same.
when there was the brown background I restarted the X server with
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and after the X server restart there appeared the Gnome
login screen.
so I switched to console with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and tried "dpkg -l | grep xfce" but
there was no result.
so what is the state of Xubuntu 8.04 iso image ?
