Sorry for the spam. Apparently your response didn't get captured in

"It looks like a binary incompatibility with the saved image.
The old image crashed, but if I just rebuild the image it works. So an image
generated under Gusty fails to run under Hardy, but Hardy images work fine on
Hardy."
