Hello
I' ve bought a new pc. I' ve an asus m2n4-sli motherboard.
If i try to install ubuntu 7.10 x86 i' ve a kernel panic (error with
timer 8524). Ubuntu suggest me to boot with noapic option.
So if i try to boot with no apic option after some minutes (when there
is ubuntu logo), i' ve an error:
"udevd-event[2179] run program:/sbin/odprobe abnormal exit"
so i can not install ubuntu. I' ve checked my cd with MD5 and all is ok.
I' ve tried also on kubuntu x64, and i' ve same errors.
I' ve tried SUSE 10.3 and i ' ve similar errors
