Edit /etc/initramfs-tools/modules and add the lines (modules) fbcon vesafb Uncomment vesafb in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer, so the line should look like # blacklist vesafb update-initramfs -u reboot and the console is visible again. Other stuff still not resolved ..... maybe this bug should be closed as couldn't reproduce?
