I confirm this problem after fresh 7.04 (Feisty) install from alternate CD. The workaround by PaulFr posted by yct worked fine - thanks.
As I'm not the linux wizz, could someone enlighten me what exactly this workaround does? I think I understand the command, but miss the sense - why it helps?
