Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xtradius
Tested on Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 Server Edition, and Fiesty 7.04 Server
Edition.
I have 2 AMD64 machines. One running Fiesty, one running Gutsy. On both
machines xtradius fails to decrypt the password sent from the nas.
Example from /var/log/radiusd.log: (encrypted password edited)
Fri Feb 8 13:17:49 2008: Auth: Login incorrect: [rmalek/ë?j0Jv(Ôî] (from nas
LAN1/S0)
I've checked the encryption keys over and over (which is usually the
problem).
I have 32bit Gutsy Server installed on a 32bit machine, and it auths fine from
the default pkg.
>From the 32bit machine:
Fri Feb 8 13:10:36 2008: Auth: Login OK: [rmalek] (from nas omg123/S0)
