After upgrading to
Linux buznote 2.6.24-7-generic #1 SMP Thu Feb 7 01:29:58 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux
from -5 today, switching between sound from the docking station and from the
laptop directly does no longer work as it used to on -5. I used to have a PCM
device, a "Front" device and a binary device called IEC958 for sound output.
The latter would decide if the docking station would output sound. Now I have
TWO "Front" devices which apparently don't do anything and the IEC958 is still
there (toggling sound from the docking station) but sound from the laptop does
no longer turn on.
