'Large jobs' are exactly what effective team collaboration (given appropriate tools, like a wiki) is able to accomplish :)
This doesn't have to be achieved on a world scale. In fact, I think the best approach is at the LoCo level, just as the Australian team (of which I am a member) has done. When you buy a computer, what matters most is how it is sold where you live. What Dell does in the UK has little bearing on how they do business in Australia, for example. -- Ubuntu web site does not say where I can buy a laptop with Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/bugs/63192 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
