I am being bugged by this bug. In my case, I am viewing files in Nautilus in list mode, sorted by Type. I'm looking at a folder with files ending in ".c.BAK". Their type is given as "backup file". But when I click on the file, it changes type to "C source code". Because I'm viewing sorted by Type, the file disappears from view, I guess somewhere further down the list.
That's a nuisance because I was trying to select all the "backup files" by clicking on the first then shift-clicking on the last. It can't be done! I'm using Gutsy Gibbon. -- Nautilus Changes file type wrongly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
