Public bug reported:
My wife has this mp3 player that can also records memos.
She's got a laptop with 32-bit feisty and it plays the recordings just fine.
My laptop, with 64-bit gutsy, plays it all in stutters and hiccups.
And my laptop plays other (mp3) files just fine. Also realplayer has no
problems making normal noises and sounds.
Just to make sure I converted the WAV file to an mp3 on the feisty laptop. It
plays just fine on mine.
The file is reported to be:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ file MIC00003.WAV
MIC00003.WAV: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, IMA ADPCM, mono 8000 Hz
I can provide a small recording, if you like.
I've tried with quite a few audio players and converters on gutsy and
they all fail.
I'm guessing this is a 32bit vs 64bit issue. I just don't know in what
package.
