Same here. This issue is documented, and is a result of the sound card being powered back on. I do not think it is something a driver can fix, as it is obviously an electrical jolt being sent through the chip, and speakers as a result. One thing that I do think can be fixed is the fact that when the sound is muted(even in all channels), the sound card is still powered on when a sound is played. The driver should detect if the master channel is muted and prevent the sound card from being turned on if a sound is played.
