I have version 2.3.0 installed right now (went to writer and about open
office). As far as I know this is the latest version you can get through
any of the common (and some not so common) repos that I have on my
computer. As far as uploading a file, unfortunately I can't do this
without permissions as I do research for a university that may not want
me to upload data sets in full. The best I can do are small screenshots
like the one above. I tried to alter the file that came from to upload
it and in the process found some very interesting patterns:

1. If I delete enough rows the red lines dissapear (data set I currently have
that has the red lines has 5400 rows, columns A-CN)
2. If I delete enough columns the same thing happens
3. When I unhide columns the red lines dissapear

The last one has actually made this less of an annoying issue as I can unhide
and then rehide and it seems to fix the problem....but none the less the issue
exists. Thanks for the hard work with Open Office and all other open source
software.
