ii file-roller 2.20.1-0ubuntu an archive manager for GNOME
SYNOPSIS
file-roller [-f] [-e directory] [file]
DESCRIPTION
file-roller is a file compression utility for gnome. Operation is self
explanatory, and the program does not require any arguments, unless
running in non-interactive mode.
OPTIONS
-e directory
Extract file to directory.
-f Extract file into current directory.
$ file-roller -f foo.iso
<GTK WINDOW MESSAGE BELOW>
Could not create the archive
Archive type not supported.
However, I expect that the command should have extracted the ISO file
and places it in the same directory. The -e option fails as well, even
if given proper paths, etc, all this verified. So, either the option is
broken or something went wrong here. I am able to use file-roller to
extract ISO files via the Nautilus "Extract Here" option, which invokes
file-roller (I watched it with -> ps aux)...
