Public bug reported:
The new gnome panel clock displays calendar and selected cities on
click. I have selected 2 cities. Whenever I click on time, calendar
appears in like 2-3 seconds, although my machine is far from slow (Core
Duo processor, 1G RAM). IMHO such delay is against common user interface
practices and is annoying
