When booting the live cd 'hardy haron alpha 4' on an powerbook g3 without options, I get a small bar showing variuous blues and fading to white. When using the option video=ofonly, this problem goes away, but then I'm dropped in to a shell (probably because of ide_core not loaded). Then I tried
% live-nosplash-powerpc break=premount video=ofonly ... (initramfs) modprobe ide_core (initramfs) exit but it seems that the cd-rom doesn't get mounted :( . I tried the same also on a desktop imac g3 (a little blue imac) . But then I get an even worse situation: the usb-driver for the keyboard doesn't work, probably because of the "premount=break" option (the keyboard works in the initramfs-shell when leaving that option away).
