ii totem 2.20.0-0ubuntu3 A simple media player for the Gnome desktop
(dummy package)
This is seemingly occurring at random and will be fixed by rebooting.
It is happening with all sorts of movie data types (as far as i can tell), e.g.
divx, wmv, avi, streaming and local content alike.
when occurring, all movie files are acting in this manner.
Picture is a colorful static from the very beginning of the movie, colors
tending to be pinkish and whitish in windowed mode and greenish/yellowish in
full-screen mode. When i drag the player-window to another desktop (desktop
effects are enabled) it will mix aforementioned colors up, so the combination
looks like mostly yellow/green horizontal stripes with pinkish/whitish lines in
between.
I will be glad to send scrrenshots of this, if it is any help.
Sound will play fine.
