This module is necesary to compile and make work a lot of thin clients sound. This bug should be duplicate of #130330: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.22/+bug/130330 Not needed to enable OSS, only install ac97_codec.ko module, OSS drivers can be compiled later with m-a to use only in thin clients. -- ac97_codec module and symbols missing, some OSS modules can't load [undefined symbol ac97_probe_codec] https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/187879 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
