This is in a current install of Ubuntu Server 7.10:
# /init/winbind restart
* Stopping the Winbind daemon winbind
[ OK ]
* Starting the Winbind daemon winbind
chgrp: invalid group `winbindd_priv'
Yet:
# cat group | grep winbind
winbindd_priv:x:115:
I'm trying to do an ADS share using winbind, which isn't working yet.
Not sure if this is part of the problem. I haven't done anything to
change users or groups for any of Samba's components.
