Ubuntu!
Unfortunately this report does not contain enough information to fix the
problem at hand.
Nautilus (the GNOME File Manager) is currently in the process of being moved to
the new gvfs backend. Because of that some breakage is to be expected.
However, one of the last updates to the gvfs package did include many fixes to
the trash backend.
Please upgrade all gvfs and nautilus related packages and report back whether
the issue still exists.
