In Gutsy, I just go to Applications/Games/Gnometris select game/new and start
playing. when the board gets between 1/3 & 1/2 way full of pieces, the trouble
starts and the game quickly goes out of control. My processor is really pulling
hard by that point.

Other programs running are firefox, avant window navigator, & compiz is
enabled. BUT even with compiz off awn turned off and no other apps
running, I'll have the same problem.

I didn't have this problem on previous versions of Ubuntu. It may be
Gutsy related. Since this is a laptop, I'm not trying Hardy until it's
stable.

Thank you for your efforts. I don't know anything else to tell you.

Thanks again.

Tony
