We are rolling out Ubuntu Desktop systems to our organization which need to print via secure Novell IPrint backends. I have normal IPrint printing going fine but when printers are secured (SSL), I do not receive the authentication login box. I have this working on SLED10 and Mandrake2006 (Cups 1.1.23), but Ubuntu 7.04(Cups 1.2.8), Ubuntu 6.06 (Cups 1.2.0), Compile from source for Cups 1.3.5 fails. It was corrected in Mac OS X 10.4.7 SNIP-> Could this be a problem in Ubuntu's CUPS as well?
