Did you try version 0.4.2? It comes with the automatic SQLite upgrade
function (originally from Debian).
In Ubuntu, the sqlite migration issue should be rectified since
0.4.1-4ubuntu*, provided you have the sqlite and sqlite3 CLI tools
installed (they're in Recommends).
