I can confirm this - exactly the same problem. Also, I´ve noticed that if I put the CD in the same drive as it was last played in and restart Rhythmbox it will work OK, but if it´s put into the first drive again it will yet again fail.
To duplicate this bug: 1. Open Rhythmbox 2. Put audio CD in drive [hdc]. 3. Double-click CD´s entry in side pane. Failure icons shown at all tracks. 4. Eject CD and place in other drive [hdd] 5. Double-click CD´s entry in side pane. CD plays. 6. Close Rhythmbox, leaving CD in [hdd] 7. Open Rhythmbox, leaving CD in [hdd] 8. Attempt to play CD again. CD plays. 9. Remove CD and put back in drive [hdd] 10. Try to play CD. Success. 11. Remove CD from [hdd] and close Rhythmbox. 12. Open Rhythmbox and put CD in [hdc]. 13. Try to play. Fails as per step 3 14. Move CD to [hdd] again and try to play - CD plays. Try with a different CD swapping [hdc] and [hdd]. When CD is moved to the second drive and the CD plays successfully, there are no warnings.
