This bug is most probably a duplicate of bug #63558 which is fixed.
Since Jon Anderson says that it works for him, I set this bug as a
duplicate of bug 63558 but if someone can still reproduce it with latest
gutsy, you can set back the bug as not a duplicate. Thanks to everybody
who worked on this bug report and helped ubuntu to improve.
