Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I have a music collection in my Music folder in about 150 folders, one
for each album I have. For each of them I used Cowbell to normalise
filenames, and that program also automatically saves an image file which
corresponds to the album cover and is called "cover.jpg". As far as I
know, Rhythmbox does something similar: it fetches album art from the
Internet and -if you want- saves it.

I've usually used the folder preferences to use those images as custom
icons for their respective folders, but it can become a burdensome task
when there's a high number of folders. It would be really handy for
nautilus to recognise specific filenames "cover.jpg, cover.png,
folder.png...) and automatically use those files as folder icons. Maybe
even detect names based on the system language, e.g. use "caratula.jpg"
if your system is in Spanish. Something similar to what xdg-user-dirs
does?
