Linux netuno 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux Looking at result number 3, I saw that 1280x1024 resolution. My monitor handles up to 1024x768 only, it's a 15" CRT. I changed those values to 1024x768 and trying rebooting. While power off, the splash appeared normally, but while power on, i had the problem of "out of frequency". Tried rebooting again and power off splash was still there, but power on splash didn't appear. Are their resolutions configured in different files? If so, tell me which one changes the resolution for the power on splash, since I think this bug is almost solved for me. ** Attachment added: "created using "lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.txt"" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12063151/lspci-vvnn.txt -- Ubuntu graphical boot uses too high horizontal frequency (LCD display problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/81206 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
