I confirm this bug still occurs on Gutsy Final, thus i eventually disabled compiz. Note that the "hardy-desktop-effects" blueprint ( https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/hardy-desktop-effects ) might help regarding this bug.
