Steps to repeat:
1. In System->Administration->Language Support, change the settings, ie switch
default language or turn complex character support on or off.
2. Log out.
Expected result: GDM-greeter
Actual result: GDM segfaults
If I manually restart gdm with /etc/init.d/gdm start after the segfault
and try it again, it works as expected.
/var/log/messages attached, this appears on the last line:
