Hi,
Did you end up using non-alphanumeric characters during installation by
chance? It wasn't able to contact the local mysql server, which can be
caused by that:
Feb 21 16:21:02 ubuntu mythbuntu: Failed to connect to DB: Can't connect
to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)
at -e line 5, <> line 1.
