Maybe the sleep isn't 100% successful after all. Last night my computer automatically went to suspend mode because of critical battery. After suspend was done I shut the lid.
This morning when I plugged it in (still the lid closed) it woke up immediately and resumed where it was last night (playing a movie). I again got the notification about sleep failing. $ lshal -m Start monitoring devicelist: ------------------------------------------------- 08:46:36.315: computer_power_supply property ac_adapter.present = false 08:46:36.409: computer property power_management.is_powersave_set = true 08:46:38.354: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.remaining_time = 4352 (0x1100) 08:46:38.357: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.charge_level.current = 2720 (0xaa0) 08:46:38.358: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.reporting.current = 2720 (0xaa0) 08:46:38.359: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.rechargeable.is_discharging = true 08:46:38.360: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.rechargeable.is_charging = false 08:46:38.361: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.current = 2653 (0xa5d) 08:46:38.362: computer_power_supply_0 property battery.voltage.current = 15526 (0x3ca6) ** Attachment added: "gpm.gconf.values.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12178991/gpm.gconf.values.txt -- Get notification about sleep failed even though it seems to have gone well after suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195095 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
