Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lazarus

Using Ubuntu 7.10; Lazarus 0.9.22-1

What happens:
- Just downloaded and installed lazarus from repositories.
- Launched lazarus' IDE
- Go to menu "Tools" -> "Configure Build Lazarus"
- In dialog window, switch LCL interface to GTK2
- Press "Save settings"
- Go to menu "Tools" -> "Build lazarus"
- ... and nothing is done

What I expect:
- Just downloaded and installed lazarus from repositories.
- Launched lazarus' IDE
- Go to menu "Tools" -> "Configure Build Lazarus"
- In dialog window, switch LCL interface to GTK2
- Press "Save settings"
- Go to menu "Tools" -> "Build lazarus"
- Compiling lazarus
- Restarted with new interface, GTK2.

Temporal solution:
- Go to a terminal
- type "sudo lazarus-ide"
- Do same said before and everything goes fine.

** Affects: lazarus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
