Yes, bios F.25 still broken, I've checked it also. this is the fixed DSDT table for bios F.21 (sorry for delay)
First flash back to F.21 bios... then just compile this DSDT.dsl (attached) with "iasl -tc DSDT.dsl" you should obtain DSDT.aml without errors, now do: # cp DSDT.aml /etc/mkinitramfs/DSDT.aml # mkinitramfs -o /boot/initrd.img-`uname -r` should be enough (you may have to put DSDT.aml also in / ) then reboot and do a: dmesg | grep DSDT and look for: [ 13.965572] ACPI: Looking for DSDT in initramfs... successfully read 41851 bytes from /DSDT.aml. [ 13.965606] ACPI: Table DSDT replaced by host OS if you did everythings ok, you should get cpufreq working. ** Attachment added: "DSDT.dsl fixed for bios F.21" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12179414/DSDT.dsl -- ACPI Error [...] AE_NOT_FOUND -> Frequency scaling not working at all on C2D T7500 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/176311 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
