Hi, I did read it, and it said that for new upstream revisions you should use interdiff, and the interdiff page says that the sponsors queue prefers diff.gz :)
Anyway, I've attached a debdiff, an updated orig.gz and an interdiff to this. The update closes this bug in debian/changes. The debdiff includes the changes in the upstream, which includes a few new translation strings.
