Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-legacy
i am using kubuntu edgy eft beta. I installed it yestersay and upgraded
it. then i installed nvidia-glx-legacy driver. i configured the xorg
file. changed the driver from 'nv' to 'nvidia' and commented out the dri
section and 'dri' module. rebooted. now when i do glxinfo, get the
following error:.
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual
