Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It isn't clear to me whether or not you actually logged
out of your session or not. However, if you did logout this behaviour
is expected as the login manager, KDM in this case, does not have a
screensaver. Regardless, I am closing this bug as Invalid as we don't
have enough information to work on it yet.
