I tried this on my Samsung Q35 but I it didn't seem to make any difference.
lspci shows: 05:09.1 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Ricoh Co Ltd R5C552 IEEE 1394 Controller (rev 09) so I tried: sudo setpci -s ‘05:09.1′ 0xCA=0×57 sudo setpci -s ‘05:09.1′ 0xCB=0×02 sudo setpci -s ‘05:09.1′ 0xCA=0×00 But didn't seem to make any difference.
