It may simply be that cupsys died (due to some unidentified bug) and
restarting the service would have 'fixed' it (System -> Admin ->
Services). Difficult to tell at this point. Please reopen this bug if
the problem reappears with the new install and you are able to provide
detailed steps you too to produce the problem. Thanks.
